The whole of the grounds extend to around 1 hectare and include hard and softwood trees and lots of soft fruit trees which grow in this very mild climate. These attract numerous, and sometimes very rare birds and butterflies. Near by are badger watching opportunities and the property is home to a pair of long eared owls.
